Planning Your Honeymoon
|
|
One of
the best parts (if not the best) of
getting married is going on your
honeymoon. It is the perfect time to
relax, get- away and enjoy the company of
your new spouse.
On
average you’ll get to go on a honeymoon
once, twice if you are lucky (to
celebrate an anniversary) and three
times if you get to your golden wedding
anniversary.

With something so
importan , you surely want to make sure that everything
goes smoothly and that you have the perfect time away
together. The best way that you can ensure a honeymoon to
remember is by planning it properly. Here are some tips
that you should definitely remember when planning your
Caribbean
honeymoon.
· Put it in your budget- if you don’t properly
allot money for your honeymoon it can easily be forgotten
amidst the wedding fever. You might not end up with
enough money to take you to a destination that you would
really like to go to.
· Plan early- there is nothing wrong in
thinking about where to go early. This will give you the
chance to find the best deals on airfare, accommodations
and/or caribbean honeymoon
packages. You will also get to reserve
early and not have to worry about last minute booking
which may cost more.
· Have your travel papers ready- many couples
often plan to travel to places outside the country but
forget about preparing the proper documents. Make sure
that you have your passport ready at least six months in
advance. You should also apply for a visa early on if you
need one for your destination.
· Stay healthy- you should make it a point to
get all the proper vaccinations required before leaving
the country. Do your research and find out what vaccines
you will need to get depending on where you are
going.
·
Know where to go- if you aren’t taking a
tour and plan to wing visiting tourist spots on your own
you should do some research first. Find out the places to
see and create an itinerary. This will allow you to
maximize your time visiting places and you don’t spend so
much time travelling around.
·
Pack appropriately- it is always a good idea
to know what season you are going to be in when travel to
a place. This will help you pack the right things.
However, generally speaking you will want to pack things
that you can mix and match so that you don’t bring too
much luggage. Don’t forget the essentials like a
camera.
·
Have the right currency- before you leave
you need to make sure that you are carrying the right
currency. Get your money changed but do leave a small
amount for when you get back from your trip. It is good
to have both bills and loose change so you don’t worry
about vending machines or pay phones.
·
Plan something
special- even if you are already on your honeymoon it
will still be nice to have little surprise planned for
your partner. A candlelight dinner, a walk on the beach
during sunset or even a bit of serenading are all
romantic but easy to arrange. This will make your time
together extra memorable.
