views on land, nothing will be as
beautiful as what you can find when you
look under the
sea.

Snorkeling is a
popular activity that tourists look forward to. Here’s a
list of the best Caribbean snorkeling spots that you
shouldn’t miss.
1. Antigua – the capital of snorkeling itself
in the Caribbean you will find wide seas that you can
snorkel in. With the most number of beaches in all of the
Caribbean you will be able to enjoy snorkeling here
without much disturbance or competition. Rainbow colored
fish, clear waters, bountiful sea plants and picture
perfect corals abound here.
2. Curacao Underwater Marine Park- spanning 20
km along the shoreline is the finest snorkeling site in
this area. It is of course filled with a variety of
marine life as well as various sites that are a surprise
to any snorkeler. Find yourself among fishes, sunken
ships and corals that are both hard and
soft.
3. Grand Cayman Sting Ray City- this will take
snorkeling to a different level as you won’t just see the
colorful tropical fishes and corals. You will also get to
swim alongside friendly stingray the whole time. You can
even get to feed them and touch them while enjoying the
cool water and amazing sites.
4. Virgin Islands, St. John- known for historic
shipwreck sites you are sure to find several different
snorkeling spots in this area. Angel fish, turtles, small
and big reefs are things that you are bound to see in the
snorkeling spots of this area.
5. Bonaire Marine Park- best known for the
fringing reefs which start at the shores and move deeper
into the waters, you will find white coral reefs as close
as three feet below. The calm waters in this area make it
ideal for first time snorkelers who want to experience
snorkeling but may be a bit reluctant in deeper
waters.
6. Tobago, The Grenadines- what makes this area
perfect for snorkeling is the fact that it remains to be
a well maintained uninhibited area. Expect to find
crystal clear waters teeming with fishes, sponges and
other marine life. You can also find white sand beaches
not very far away.
7. Turks and Caicos- with 1,000 miles of coral
reefs, you can surely expect to have a great time viewing
the underwater. These include shallow reefs that are
perfect for snorkeling allowing you to view drop-offs and
many different coral formations.
There are a whole lot
of other wonderful snorkeling places, although these
remain to be the best in the Caribbean. You surely won’t
regret spending some time visiting any of these
snorkeling spots.
